A Thank You Letter.
Thank you to our valued customers and tireless front-line workers. It is in challenging times like these that we often see the best come out in our communities – this crisis is no different. While things are still far from normal, because of your commitment each day we take a step towards progress and the end of this pandemic, together. Thank you for your dedication.
Thank you to those who are prioritizing giving back. At Portofino, we are fortunate to be able to team up with some great organizations that are feeding the most vulnerable in our communities during these times of need. We have the honour of donating our bakery products to Backpack Buddies and FATSO, two terrific BC-local organizations spearheading very meaningful causes during these times. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and efforts.
Thank you to our tremendous staff at Portofino. I am humbled each day by the dedication across our teams. While we have instituted many additional safety measures across our operations to protect our staff, I know the uncertainty of the pandemic on our staff’s work, personal, and family lives does not make things easier for them on a daily basis. Our dedicated staff has kept our operations running and are taking the same approach to producing our high-quality local products – we would not be able to do this without them. Thank you for your service.
As a producer of essential food products for our customers and front-line workers, we at Portofino are here to support you during these times. We are committed to continue sharing our passion and our pride with you each day so that you can continue feeding yourselves and your families artisan-quality products that you can trust. While many of our food service customers have been adversely affected by COVID-19, we remain fully operational and focused more than ever on serving our communities and ensuring the safety of our staff and our customers.
From all of us here at Portofino, we thank you for coming together during these challenging times.
