With the holiday season comes entertaining and celebrations, both of which involve food and indulgence. At Portofino we have gone back to our roots and created some of our childhood favourites as well as some more modern fare to help us celebrate the season.
New for 2016
This year we are happy to introduce a few new favourites to our holiday line-up:

- Lemon Coconut Shortbread
A holiday staple for children everywhere. We bake our gingerbread men in two different sizes, the smaller one comes in bags of 12 and the larger ones are sold individually and come decorated.
Stollen is a traditional bread that has evolved over the years from a once dense, fairly tasteless loaf to what it is today, a sweeter loaf filled with everything from dried fruit to marzipan and poppy seeds. At Portofino we make our stollen with dried fruit and marzipan then top it off with a dusting of powdered sugar. Stollen is best served on its own or toasted with a bit of butter on it and pairs great with tea.
